tawny owl PATTERNThis pattern of a tawny owl is quite a detailed burn subject. Take your time and remember to take breaks during working. Looking at your work again with a fresh pair of eyes always helps! Try to create some depth when burning the feathers by using quite a high temperature to gouge into the wood. I have used a basswood slice for this project but any piece of light coloured wood will be suitable. This pattern is 15.1cm x 20.88cm in size and is available for £3.00.
